but I am not the one that immediately comes to your mind when you think of one.

 I actively challenge the stereotype that comes to YOUR mind when I don the letters that I have come to love and appreciate.

You look at me and YOU await to see one thing.

But, I am here to make sure that YOU come to expect another.

I am here to show YOU that I am not alone.

There are several that think the same way that I do.

We may all wear different letters across our chests.

But in our ideals, we are the same.

We dare to challenge the status quo.

News: Fraternities Support Victims of Domestic Violence (@vtifc)

The Fraternities of Virginia Tech participated in the 10th annual AXO Mock Rock through November 7th to the 9th. The Alpha Chi Omega Sorority works in collaboration with the New River Valley Women's Resource Center to support victims of domestic violence. The ladies of AXO were able to raise $21, 882.80 by the combined efforts of the Greek community. About $6,000 of which came directly from fraternal organizations. On November 9th was the Mock Rock Lip Sync Contest. Zeta Psi won best performance, and the final fraternity standings in the entire Mock Rock philanthropy were 1st place Phi Sigma Kappa, 2nd place Delta Sigma Phi, and 3rd place Fiji.
